New York Hairdresser Gives Homeless Men Their Style Back

Mark Bustos, a New York based hairdresser has been spending the last two years giving hair cuts to the less fortunate.

Mark works 6 days a week at an upmarket New York studio, cutting hair for those willing to pay the price, however it's his work with the penniless that is truly inspiring. On his only day off every week, Mark goes around the streets of New York gives homeless men their style back.

The transformations are amazing and it's inspiring to see how a simple hair cut can grow the confidence of a homeless person and give hope to those who witness it.

Mark approaches each person with the simple phrase "I want to do something nice for you today" and provides cuts for up to six people every Sunday. He is often accompanied by his girlfriend who asks the homeless what food they would like and provides them with something to eat.
