David Jones played host to the highly anticipated Caulfield Cup Marquee today, capturing a vibrant theme trackside for the spring season. David Jones hosted a dynamic guest list of international and local influencers and racing enthusiasts in one of the most amazing spaces to enjoy the Caulfield Cup.
Guests in attendance included Melbourne creative identities, sporting stars, bloggers and media in Australian fashion. David Jones ambassadors, Jessica Gomes, Jason Dundas, Montana Cox and Emma Freedman alongside friend of the brand, Jesinta Campbell welcomed guests while socialites Rebecca Judd, Sheree Commerford and Sam Elsom, Juliana Forge and Cameron MacDonald attended in sophisticated style. Nadia Bartel was sporting her finest racewear ensembles while athlete and model Amy Pejkovic mingled close by.
Additional guests including racing royalty Tom and Hoda Waterhouse, Adam and Sophie Sangster, Melbourne socialites including Anthony and Nerida McIntosh, Matt and Athena O’Connor and Stokehouse restaurateurs Frank and Sharon van Haandel all enjoyed the festivities. Australian fashion darlings and David Jones exclusive designers Marc Freeman of Camilla & Marc, Dion Lee, Bianca Spender, Becky Cooper of Bec & Bridge, Nicola Finetti, Helen O’Connor of Thurley and Karl Bartl of Jack London also took part in a memorable day alongside bloggers and influencers Sara Donaldson, Romy Frydman and Jasmin Howell.
Guests were treated to an incredible culinary experience, prepared by esteemed French-born chef Guillaume Brahimi. Guillaume delighted guests with an impressive bespoke menu which combined delicious canapés, with highlights including the Chargrilled King Salmon and Crispy Pork Belly with cucumber and herb salad and duck pie. Indulgent sweet treats such as the Mini Explosive Raspberry Ice Creams by Burch and Purchase, with raspberry ice-cream dipped in Belgium milk chocolate, topped with popping candy and freeze dried raspberry crumble was a clear winner amongst the sweet-toothed.
