All signs pointed to Caulfield today as over 30,000 race goers hit the track for the 2016 BMW Caulfield Cup.
The Westfield Style Stakes welcomed over 400 entrants across the day, with over 1,000 across the three days of competition, triple that received for the competition in 2015.
Ladies category winner Crystal Kimber was thrilled with the result.
“I think the new format competition is a great initiative by the club,” she said of the digital photography entry mechanic.
“I almost didn’t make it into the studio, it was so busy! I am just thrilled to have been chosen.”
The Caulfield Lounge partnered with David Jones, was filled with sporting, television and fashion stars including Olympic gold medallist Mack Horton, Caulfield Cup ambassadors Elyse Knowles and Nadia Bartel, David Jones ambassadors Jesinta Campbell, Jessica Gomes and Adam Goodes and champion cricketer Ricky Ponting.
The Crown Lager Live Stage was packed with DJs across the day, including Aussie DJ Timmy Trumpet lifted the crowd for the final two races of the day.
