France’s popular champagne house, Maison Mumm, is ready to set the standard again in this years Flemington Birdcage over the Melbourne Cup Carnival. Turning up the heat in 2016, Mumm has announced their Club de la Plage (“Beach Club”) marquee theme that is set to take celebrations to the next level.
As the Official Champagne of the Melbourne Cup Carnival for the seventh year in a row, Maison Mumm will attract Australia’s social set to the Birdcage and play host to a series of exclusive VIP experiences across four race days.
Guests in the Club de la Plage marquee will experience the ultimate thrill of celebration, surrounded by world-class entertainment and gastronomy, with an exclusive high-energy daytime party reminiscent of iconic beach clubs in the South of France and across the Mediterranean. Having firmly established a reputation as the place to party, the Maison Mumm marquee will be the hottest destination in the Birdcage, taking a bold move in 2016 with an unprecedented activation element that must be seen to be believed.
Derby Day and Melbourne Cup Day will be hosted by one of Australia’s hottest social media influencers, qualified lawyer, blogger and founder of luxury sportswear label SLINKII, Pia Muehlenbeck. To mark the partnership, Pia and Maison Mumm will collaborate on a custom-designed swimsuit, to be unveiled inside the Club de la Plage marquee.
